We see a great variety of motive power heading through Davis on the Union Pacific. On a recent double-stack/auto rack train, Union Pacific AC4460CW #7306 was in the lead.

I finished a new music video called “Central Pacific’s Making History”. The song is about Central Pacific’s first locomotive, 4-4-0 #1 Governor Stanford which is on display at the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento, as well as the strength of immigrant workers who laid 10 miles of track in one day.

This Alaska Railroad FP7 pulls a train from Anchorage to Fairbanks. We give a wave to the engineer on this cold late winter day. The sun is shining and Alaska and all of its wonder is pristine as the train continues onward.
