A Chicago and North Western Freight Train at Rochelle, Illinois

A Chicago and North Western freight heads east at Rochelle, Illinois.  This train carries carloads of coal from the Powder River Basin and grain from Iowa.  Chicago and North Western linked the Upper Midwest and provided a key link between Omaha and Chicago.  Chicago and North Western is part of today's Union Pacific.
