I recently finished drawing two box cars and a caboose for Central Vermont to make a new Central Vermont Freight Train poster. Central Vermont connected New England and Canada.

Today's Drawing-Grand Trunk Western GP9 #4136 July 14, 2015
Today I drew Grand Trunk Western GP9 #4136. In its career, this locomotive served on both the Grand Trunk Western and Central Vermont.
I always enjoy drawing Grand Trunk Western, as many of my first memories of this railroad were seeing its auto-racks and 86' auto parts box cars. I have always associated the Grand Trunk Western with the manufacturing of the Great Lakes region. Throughout its history, "The Good Track Road" truly was the railroad that connected much of industry of the North Central United States.
