A Maine Central Pulpwood Train On a Winter's Morning

A pair of Maine Central GP7's and a GP9 lead a general merchandise train heavy with pulpwood from the forests of Maine.  Maine Central was known as "The Pine Tree Route," connecting much of Northern New England.  Its brightly painted locomotives competed with the beautiful fall foliage and stood out on a winter's morning, shining in the sun with their train.

To see my Maine Central 11"x17" signed poster, visit my website customtrains.org and/or my eBay store.
