The Wabash Blue Bird at St. Louis Union Station

The Wabash Blue Bird prepares to leave St. Louis Union Station bound for Chicago's Dearborn Street Station.  The PA's bellow smoke as they come to life, heading from the train shed of America's busiest train station.  A Terminal Railroad of St. Louis switcher hustles to prepare the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Texas Special for its evening departure.
St. Louis Union Station has been restored as a Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel.  Wabash is part of today's Norfolk Southern. Passenger service today to St. Louis is provided by Amtrak and Amtrak Midwest.
