Union Pacific Big Boys

Big Boy locomotives such as #4014 were designed to keep the long trains of Union Pacific moving over Sherman Hill and the vast expanses of the West.  Whether it was perishables headed to Omaha and interchange to the East Coast or general merchandise headed to Salt Lake City and interchange to California, the Big Boy mastered the mainline of the Union Pacific.
