 A Lehigh Valley C628 Alco locomotive moves a general merchandise train from Oak Island Yard to Buffalo, New York.  As this train moves, autumn is in the air.  The winds of change are blowing throughout the Northeast, as many railroads, such as Lehigh Valley, are about to join Conrail.

Lehigh Valley Freight Train Behind a C628 and GP38-2

A Lehigh Valley train heads for Newark from Allentown.  Its C628 and GP38-2 dressed in Cornell Red make a beautiful sight on this snowy January morning.  It is easy to see why Lehigh Valley has always been a favorite among its fans.
