The Great Northern Empire Builder at Havre, Montana

The Empire Builder heads west at Havre, Montana.  Ahead lies the Marias Pass and the advertised beauty of Glacier National Park.  The Empire Builder was the flagship train of the Great Northern, named for GN founder, James J. Hill.  Today's +Amtrak  Chicago to Seattle Empire Builder is named for its Great Northern ancestor.
