Through the years of drawing trains and having booths at train shows, I have noticed quite a few railroads such as Guilford and Penn Central that years ago were only talked about because of the railroads they had replaced.  As time has passed, however, I have noticed that the Penn Centrals and Guilfords now carry their own eras forward as a moment of time passed in railroading.
