Dakota Minnesota and Eastern, C and NW and Burlington Northern Locomotives Move Trains

 This Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern SD40-2 carries freight on its way from Rapid City.

In the Twin Cities, we see a Chicago and North Western GP15-1 moving a local train.

Meanwhile, a Burlington Northern SD60M heads west with a general merchandise train.

 This Atlantic Coast Line E7 heads to Jacksonville with the Champion.

Meanwhile, a Seaboard Air Line E3 leads the Silver Meteor on its way from Miami.

And An Atlantic Coast Line F7 leads a freight train on its way to Atlanta. 

Davis, California Amtrak Station is Served by Amtrak California Zephyr, Coast Starlight and Amtrak CA Capitol Corridor Trains

 

Our Amtrak Station in Davis, California was built in 1913 for the Southern Pacific Railroad.  Through the years, it has served trains such as Southern Pacific's City of San Francisco and Shasta Daylight. 

Davis's Amtrak Station is served by today's Amtrak California Zephyr and Coast Starlight trains, 

as well as Amtrak California's Capitol Corridor service. 

BNSF 7423 Leads an Intermodal Train Through Escalon, California on BNSF Stockton Subdivision

I recently saw BNSF ES44DC 7423 leading an intermodal train at Escalon, California.  BNSF's mainline through Escalon is the Stockton Subdivision from Richmond to Fresno which is trackage of the former Santa Fe  Railway.
